What you will do

 

Through our internship program, you will gain first-hand experience with an industry leader in low carbon solutions (LCS). Your work, and that of the teams, contributes to the growth and future of our business, as we create the low-carbon energy the world needs to protect tomorrow, today. In addition, it will be an excellent platform for you to explore your career aspirations while delivering tangible benefits throughout our business from invaluable on-the-job-experience.

 

Beyond that, you will not be alone as you will have a supervisor and advisor assigned to you who can help you navigate the organization, give advice on your development and help you learn what it takes to achieve your goals. As part of the assessed internship, you will have a formal final review on project delivery and performance by your supervisor. You will also be asked to prepare a final presentation or report out about your project.  
 

Possible internship scopes include:

 

  • Support ongoing policy development required for LCS activities on carbon capture and storage, hydrogen, ammonia, and / or biofuels in Asia Pacific region, including need to address cross border movement of CO2 and low carbon products; assist with strategy and planning development exercises
  • Support LCS policy mapping work across region to help identify key levers for value creation and gaps that need to be addressed from both fiscal and regulatory standpoint
  • Monitor the policy and regulatory landscape across the region for new issues and opportunities with potential to impact LCS
  • Helping design and implement an Asia Pacific LCS portfolio prioritization and management system aligned with Global Prioritization criteria
  • Conduct LCS market analysis across Asia Pacific regions and industry sectors to help further support establishment and growth of profitable LCS business; generate insights to help inform understanding of supply / demand dynamics and opportunity identification

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications


To be eligible for our Internship Program, you should be:

  • In your 3rd or 4th year of study
  • A degree in Engineering; Preferably second upper honors and above and / or with leadership experience in non-academic areas such as co-curriculum activities or national service
  • Previous internship experience in either private or public sector service preferred
