Job Role Summary

 

What you will be doing

 

  • Provides professional Industrial Hygiene support and counsel, and oversees programs and practices 
  • Performs Industrial Hygiene activities as identified in annual work plans, including but not limited to identification, assessment and control of health risks 
  • Develops annual Industrial Hygiene plans for the site or businesses (with Industrial Hygiene Coordinator or Manager) 
  • Ensures that the requirements in the field operations manual are implemented and are aligned with global and/or regional standards, and improvement activities 
  • Stewards progress of support and project plans; develops periodic highlights
  • Submits equipment/capital budget requests
  • Participates in Industrial Hygiene network meetings, teleconferences and activities
  • Provides mentoring, facilitate training, functional guidance to business partners, and support to Health Management System. 
  • Supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of global systems
  • Participates in the development and local implementation of global health hazard control programs.  
  • Gets involved in emerging issues analysis and resolution

 
What you will need
 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent discipline
  • 1-10 years’ of industry experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills
