Position Title: Contracts Lead / Contracts Manager


Key Resposibilities:


1. Develop and maintain portfolio of agreements within a category

2. Ensure Purchase of goods and services is cost effective and maximizes value for the business 

3. Work closely with Business Units to explore contracting opportunities / needs 

4. Response to market changes to sustain competitive advantage for the Business

5. Support Senior Category Manager in development and implementation of Category strategy and commercial guidance

6. Monitor KPIs on selected agreements or vendors as well as selected operational processes

7. Ensure focus on transactional efficiency


Job Skills and Requirements:


1. Minimum 2 to 5 years & open for fresh graduate (Contracts Lead) / 5 to 8 years (Contracts Manager) procurement related experience in the area of Manufacturing environment (refinery, chemical plant) or Supply Chain logistic services

2. Knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay (PtP) process – including use of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system and GEP system

3. Demonstrate the ability to identify new opportunities, challenge “status quo” and drive changes

4. Identify new suppliers that are competent to supply and support business line with the right cost, material and framework, and work collaboratively with Business Partners and Engineering to qualify them for both local and overseas (regional/global) operations & projects.

5. Effective negotiation / commercial skills

6. Industry and market knowledge 

7. Basic computer software applications

8. Proficient in English, both spoken and written 

9. Effective team player with good communication/ interpersonal/ coordination / advocacy skills

10. Strong Analytical & Leadership Skill 

11. Self-motivated and independent
