Chemical Sales Engineers

Location:  Singapore, 01, SG

Job Role Summary

• Sales representative for a territory in South-east Asia.
• Interface with customers and networking with credit, supply chain and global customer service.
• Manage existing accounts and develop new accounts, in line with sales strategy to grow target segments and improve profitability.
• Negotiate sales terms and conclude contracts with customers within set guidelines.
• Work closely with customers and cross functions to reduce cost and optimize margins.
• Develop and achieve annual sales plans, including marketing excellence account plans and structural improve plans.
• Initiate business development plan(s) to support customer/products high grading.
• Participate in regional/global networks on short-to-medium term projects.


• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum five years of working experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge in commercial sales will be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient and fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Highly dynamic and adaptable.
• Possess a passion to learn.
• Able to travel two or more weeks each month.
