Chemical Sales Engineer

Job Role Summary

• Sales representative for the ASEAN Region
• Interface with customers and networking with credit, supply chain and global customer service
• Manage existing accounts and develop new accounts, in line with sales strategy to grow target segments and improve profitability
• Negotiate sales terms and conclude contracts with customers within set guidelines
• Work closely with customers and cross functions to reduce cost and optimize margins
• Develop and achieve annual sales plans, including marketing excellence account plans and structural improve plans
• Initiate business development plan(s) to support customer/products high grading
• Participate in regional/global networks on short-to-medium term projects


• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field from a recognized university
• Working experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry is a plus
• Candidates with no prior work experience are also welcome to apply
• Knowledge in commercial sales will be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient and fluent in English and Mandarin
• Highly dynamic and adaptable
• Possess a passion to learn
• Able to travel two or more weeks each month
