Job Role Summary

Develops and implements marketing plans for relevant markets, products and applications. Conducts market research and analysis to support new markets and applications. Defines EM value proposition for responsible markets and applications. May develop early interfaces with new customers that are later transitioned to Sales Representatives for commercial transactions.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Develops market plans in line with strategy.
  • Identifies discernable market segments through the analysis of target markets, industry trends, customer needs and competition.
  • Assesses EM market application fit and customer needs. Translates fit into EM product / service requirements and definition of sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Conducts value chain and value in use analyses. Maintains a deep understanding of the customer value produced by EM, along with internal value and cost economics.
  • Marketing lead to develop and implement new product and/or process gates; including development of business case; alignment of stakeholders; stewardship of internal and external parties.
  • Coordinates cross functional relationships to develop and implement marketing tactics, tools and training which support relevant markets and products/services.
  • Develops communication plans and contents targeted to both internal/external stakeholders.
  • Participates in industry associations, seeking opportunities to influence strategies aligned with those of EM.
  • Support digital marketing activities: analyze user behavior patterns, identify process improvement opportunities, and support Webinar, short video production and other digital activities.

Expected Level of Proficiency

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in plastic or polymer industrial sales, marketing or technology; has experience in rigid packaging is preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred
  • Strong ownership, business acumen, value-selling mindset, collaboration, communication skills and analytical capabilities
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English
