What you will do
The candidate role is to operate, administer, maintain and tune of China and China LabLAN MECM platform and related components. The China Active Directory environment is out of scope of MECM management.
The administration of the platform includes but not limited to:
• Deploy security updates to Windows workstation and servers monthly
• Create, setup and deploy new or updated version of software for Windows workstation and server as requested by users
• Install, upgrade application to the latest supported version and retire unused infrastructure as appropriate
• Monitor the health of MECM infrastructure via MECM console (CAS, primary servers, distribution points, etc.) and perform remediation and tuning if necessary
• Trouble and resolve issues related to MECM (application and infrastructure)
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to patch updates/ security updates/software deployments reported by users
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to MECM infrastructure (e.g. DB replication failed, MECM services stopped unexpectedly, etc.)
• Periodic Access review complying with security need
• Manage MECM access roles (e.g. create/update/delete Boundary Groups, Distribution Groups and Distribution Point based on site needs)
About you
Position Specific Skills
• 3+ years and strong background of technical skills / experience supporting Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
• 3+ years experience with Windows Servers Operating Systems Administration
• Well versed in using Configuration Manager PowerShell to automate MECM operational/routine tasks
• Monitoring system health based on defined schedules and rotations
• Able to participate in critical day zero critical patch deployment as needed
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root cause, and recommend solution
• Manage support queue and provide feedback to user requests / problems
General Skills
• Must have strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
• Must be a self-starter who works well in a global virtual team
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to multi-task and manage workload under time pressure and changing priorities
• Customer service focus
Skills considered an advantage (Nice-to-have)
• Experience in project management experience on small to medium scale application implementations is an added advantage
