ExxonMobil has a long history in China dating back to 1892 when its predecessor Standard Oil began marketing kerosene to light the Mei Foo lamps at Chinese homes. ExxonMobil markets a variety of petrochemicals in China to meet the growing needs for a broad range of applications in packaging, automotive, industrial and consumer goods as well as hygiene and personal care products. 

What you will do


  • Lead China business development activities of Proxxima resin systems in the coating segment

  • Coordinate, and/or manage ExxonMobil relationships with external stakeholders within the value chain of the coating segment

  • Develop and drive project plans for growth of Proxxima resin systems in the high-performance anticorrosion market and the automotive coating market

  • Technical interaction with the coating formulators in the development of a commercial coating  

  • Coordinate, negotiate and execute agreements for commercialization of new opportunities, and manage existing and new contracts, as needed

  • Represent ExxonMobil in applicable external forums, as required 


About you


  • University Degree in Science or Engineering

  • 10+ years in coating segment

  • Commercial experience in developing business in the coating segment

  • Technical knowledge of the coating market

  • Fluent English writing/speaking, Korean is a plus
