Chemical
ExxonMobil markets a variety of petrochemicals in China to meet the growing needs for a broad range of applications in packaging, automotive, industrial and consumer goods as well as hygiene and personal care products.
What role you will play in our team
Join us in helping grow our ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset system business. We are now commercializing in China a range of resins that have been proven in field trials to outperform the conventional materials used in polymer composites and have the ability to replace metal for structural parts used in vehicles.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven ability to engage LV OEMs and manage development opportunities on their new platforms. You will typically have 10 years of experience in promoting thermoset composites to the OEMs.
Positions are available at both the ExxonMobil office in Shanghai and the office in Guangzhou. Working as part of the global team, strong English language skills are required.
What you will do
- Lead the business development of ProxximaTM into Automotive parts
- Accountable for developing and managing the relationships at a portfolio of vehicle manufacturers
- For the structural parts best suited to Proxxima, lead the OEM material qualification and drive the adoption across multiple platforms
About you
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- 7-10 years in the composites industry
- Established network at one or more Chinese automotive OEM
