Job Role Summary


The Automotive Sales Advisor is responsible for sell-through of Mobil products to automotive installed and on-highway fleet customers to achieve the sales plan either directly or in conjunction with designated EM distributors in the West region. This position is based in Seattle, WA.

Primary Job Functions
  • Serve as primary contact for distributor sales representatives to support products and services
  • Provide account and opportunity management coaching to distributor sales representatives
  • Develop sales plan and maintain key performance records
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce.com
  • Plan, prepare, and conduct sales presentations to customers
  • Document sales meetings via call reports
  • Execute marketing programs to support growth targets
  • Operate within established Travel & Expense budget
  • Other duties or activities assigned by the Area Sales Manager
  • Home-based office with frequent travel within a defined sales territory
Job Requirements


  • H.S. diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering preferred
  • Self-starter with ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong interpersonal, communications and computer skills
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA's)
  • Local market knowledge of quick lubes, repair shops, and fleets
  • Demonstrated sales experience and capability
