What role will you play in our team
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tactical functions to ensure timely and efficient delivery of orders to customers working on a day-to-day, order-to-order basis. They coordinate and build productive relationships with third party logistics service providers (terminals, warehouses, trucking, marine..) to ensure high-quality operations and prompt issue resolution. They help to plan and execute logistics to meet distribution schedule requirements by working with internal parties and third parties in executing the product transfers both physical and system while ensuring optimized cost of delivery service.
What will you do
- Act as primary interface between S&OP, third parties, and SC Operations.
- Communicate effectively with all partners to ensure alignment and accurate execution of plans.
- Ensure adherence to risks controls, supply chain guidelines, regulatory compliance, and transportation policies.
- Nominate movements as appropriate and may negotiate shipping arrangements within the established framework.
- Resolves carrier, (warehouse), customer, and order issues, and troubleshoots system-related issues.
- Arrange and follow up on logistics documents (may include import and export documentation) within the required time frame.
- Prepare, analyze, and submit periodic reports such as KPIs, on time delivery etc.
- Provide inventory accounting, transport/warehouse invoicing and financial controls support, including completion of physical inventory count (PIC) (lubes packed)
- Manage inventory including shelf life management, off-spec products, damage and claim handling, physical disposal for write off products etc. (Lubes packed)
About You: Skills and qualification
- Degree in Engineering/ Business / Supply Chain, study linked to Supply Chain an advantage
- Previous experience in Supply Chain an advantage, but new graduates also welcome to apply
- French or German language is an advantage
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office tools
- Strong logical and analytical skills
- Strong drive and improvement mindset
- Detail oriented, reliable, thorough, initiative-taking personality
- Strong sense of ownership for assigned tasks
- Team player, willing to support other team members
- Working independently, able to perform with limited guidance
- Able to work with external third parties to mutual benefit
