Job Role Summary


Supports the purchasing / subcontracting activities performed by the EPC Contractor and/or in-house Procurement group, and ensures progression of aligned commercial strategies to drive schedule and capital efficiencies, while ensuring operational integrity in support of the Project Objectives & Strategies.

Job Role Responsibilities


  • Serve as project focal point for execution of equipment and Material Procurement, Commercial Valuation, award, expediting, logistics planning and execution, Field Materials Management, and EPC Subcontracting
  • Oversee EPC of subcontracting activities including ancillary service scopes from bid list development, bidder qualification and contract award thru closeout
  • Support update of Project Materials Management Plan to incorporate project developments, engagement with FEED Contractor, and additional detail around Project Logistics and Materials Management strategies

Job Requirements


  • BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, or other applicable business degree or minimum 3 years experience within Procurement, Manufacturing and/or Logistics
  • Extensive interaction with internal business clients to clarify requirements, agree on procurement tactic, e-mail and address queries and issues
  • Extensive interaction with external suppliers to negotiate and award contracts and address queries and issues
  • Preparing and reviewing Procurement Plans, Material Management and Subcontracting Plans (procurement tactic)
  • Preparing tenders, RFQ's, sealed bids and related duties
  • Develop bid slate, package assembly, bid clarifications, conditioning, analysis / evaluation, award
  • Drives implementation of Global and Regional strategies / best practices at the business unit level
  • Other duties as required and determined by department in accordance with applicable rules and regulations

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


  • SAP Knowledge or experience with any Material Management System
  • Contracting, Contract Negotiation, Bid development and evaluation, Supplier Relationship Management
  • Have excellent oral and written skills
