Job Role Summary

The position is a member of a global team within the IMT Marine Quality Assurance group which undertakes a number of marine quality / safety and service related activities, including Industry Advocacy activities, ensuring all vessel used in EM service meet IMT’s quality expectations in:

 

Job Role Responsibilities

This particular role will focus on

  • Particpate in IMT efforts to influence, standardize, and improve the marine quality assurance processes used by EM EM affliates affiliates worldwide
  • Serve as one of IMT’s leading advocates for MQA to EM EM affliates affiliates.  Assist IMT and SeaRiver efforts to implement a unified system of marine quality assurance across EM EM affliates affiliates which is modelled on SeaRiver/IMT processes and consistent with OIMS
     

Expected Level of Proficiency

To be eligible for this role, you should:

  • Hold an Senior Officer qualification or relevent degree
  • Have extensive professional experience (10 years as a guide), preferably within the Offshore marine industy
  • Be familiar with industry standards,in particular the OCIMF program

Candidates should also the ability to interact effectively with affiliate management, external marine industry organisations, companies and be accepted by them as a marine authority.
Must be able to confidently communicate information and / or position so that interested parties perceive incumbent to be responsive and balanced.
Through Knowledge, skills and experience demonstrate high degree of business integrity in the impact of the industry issues on XOM and Internal stakeholders.

We would expect you to have a broad range of personal effectiveness and leadership skills, and to be able to facilitate and influence business decisions in a team environment. Candidate should also be motivated to progress as a professional  with the potential for further career progress to appointments in regional and global technical leadership positions.
