Job Role Summary

Business strategy development:

  • Proactively engage in the development of business strategies within local geography / functional scope; consider these insights as input to talent strategy development and workforce planning Talent Strategy and Strategic Workforce Planning:
  • Provide local input to functional talent strategies to enable functional business strategies and accountable to adapt and execute in local geography;
  • Provide local input to regional functional strategic workforce planning (SWP) in-line with Corporate SWP process and tools; proactively identify need for geographic SWP and align Functional BHR on need and scope, and then effectively execute Talent Strategy and SWP are iterative processes.
  • Conduct workforce analytics, including forecasting, and developing insights critical to BLs/SLs and local strategy execution
  • Execute workforce analytics related to expat utilization, contractor use, managing headcount length, and how and where we work
  • Partner with Functional and/or Regional BHR to understand local implications of SWP key insights, determine gaps and develop improvement plans for functional talent strategies; leverage common corporate tools, solutions and processes, and the full HR function Development Framework: skills, performance assessment and career and position planning (also known as staffing and development):
  • Execute assessment process in line with Corp intent; act as straight-edge with BL/SL to deliver a robust and fair process
  • Execute career planning, potential and staffing models; lead local functional process and support cross-functional processes as required
  • Conduct local health assessment to identify functional critical skills at risk and mitigating plans, emerging skills needs or deficits to deliver on business strategies Asset Management:
  • Execute activities related to mergers, acquisitions, divestments and ventures within the respective BL/SL in partnership with the Asset Management COE, Functional and/or regional HR and Labor COE Other responsibilities:
  • Ensure full alignment of workforce solutions with corporate intent, principles and preferences as articulated in HRMS
  • Support execution of HR functional priorities
  • Employee Communications: provide local input to various employee communication related to HR / personnel matters; ensure HR communications team are aware of employee sentiment and broad issue areas are flagged to country or functional HRLTs
  • Member of local functional leadership teams; represent HR on local ESGs
  • Act as coach to local leaders consistent with the EoL
  • Act as second line of defense for Corporate talent management system; act as a straight edge
  • Work across HR to fully leverage integrated value and proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities, lead geographic HR organization by role modeling the required Corporate Leadership Behaviors, Values and Culture

 

Job Role Responsibilities

Lead talent solutions based on data insights and execute processes to improve business performance

  • Local Functional Talent Strategy and Strategic Workforce Plan adaptation and the execution of resulting prioritized elements across the talent management system through relevant GPO areas (e.g. recruiting, compensations etc.)
  • Execution of skills development, performance assessment and career planning & staffing processes
  • Merger, Acquisitions and Divestments
