What role you will play in our team

 

  • Coordinate and set up HCC packaging, warehousing and logistics facilities with 3rd party service provider, manufacturing, project consultant, local agencies, etc.
  • Provide engineering and technical support for HCC Polymers packaging and warehousing design, build, startup and operation activities. 
  • Manage packaging raw materials, supporting various compliance activities and stewarding packaging raw materials suppliers performance.
  • Key interface between HCC manufacturing and Supply Chain & GBU Business Team. 

 

What you will do

 

Safety:

  • Drive safety at packaging and warehousing facility
  • Steward third party service provider to comply SSHE requirement
  • Support daily tool box talks, risk assessment, incident investigation, safety audit follow-up

 

Project: 

  • Support the safe, efficient and on time start-up of ExxonMobil Huizhou Chemical Complex, meeting project objectives and strategies
  • Support project reviews during different phases and assesses/modifies impact to packaging area
  • Support verification & closure of punch list items as part of facility handover from EPC to EM
  • Support HAZAMS review follow ups closure verification 
  • Support functional testing and prove out of packaging & warehouse equipment 
  • Support PLG team to review & buildup of 3rd party service provider’s safety/operations/maintenance systems and work processes 
  • Support PLG team/3rd party service provider setting up packaging & warehouse performance monitoring system

 

Polymers bagging line operations:

  • Monitor and manage bagging line condition on daily basis
  • Manage and drive the reliability of weighbridge and bulk operations on daily basis
  • Interface between technical / process engineers for daily troubleshooting 
  • Sustain bagging rates at design basis
  • Drive compliance to weights and controls requirements 
  • Support month end material mass balance activities
  • Oversee scrap material handling and steward 3rd party vendor’s compliance on scrap contractual KPI on yearly basis
  • Drive improvement program for operational safety, reliability, quality and productivity 

 

Packaging Raw Materials management (PRM): 

  • Manage Packaging Raw materials quality issues 
  • Collaborate with Site Supply Chain and PRM supplier to improve PRM quality  
  • Support and interface with technology for new formulation development 
  • Drive PRM usage compliance, including but not limited to monthly PRM reconciliation, PRM consumption ratio analysis
  • Support new supplier’s qualification 
  • Steward PRM suppliers’ performance with Site Supply Chain

 

Interface with Product Management / Supply Chain:

  • Support new business and supply chain’s request and drive implementation at the bagging line
  • Update product management in Business Team meeting for improvements and optimization on bagging line reliability or packaging raw material
  • Support new products trial 

 

Quality management:

  • Support PLG team/Site Quality engineer on setting up packaging & warehouse quality management system
  • Support needed quality reviews in packaging & warehouse operation
  • Ensure quality compliance in all phases of packaging activities
  • Investigate and follow up on quality incident reports and customer feedbacks
  • Support technical engineers to manage products quality incidents 
  • Drive compliance to global quality requirements relating to packaging, storage and shipment
  • Coordinate and drive compliance to GMP requirements 

 

Controls: 

  • Coordinate and drive compliance to EM controls requirements
  • Drive annual PRM/ spare parts stock count and Fixed Asset Verifications 

  

About You

 

  • Bachelor Degree or above preferably in Engineering, Mechanics or related majors
  • At least 2-3 years work experience in manufacturing / packaging unit and logistics 
  • Basic knowledge of Industrial Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Control, Trade Regulation, GPQMS (Global Product Quality Mgt System), CFB (Customer Feedback) etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with 3rd party service providers
  • Effective team player – have to work in cross functional teams consisting of members from service providers, site supply chain, technical engineers, quality engineers, business
  • Self-driven and ability to influence without authority
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Able to use English as the working language
