Maintenance Supervisor - Analyzer (Huizhou)

Job Role Responsibilities:

 

Construction Phase

*Interface with various stakeholders, ensure maintainability of new facilities, develop job pack, coordinate FAT, perform/witness loop check, perform & document punch listing, develop spare part strategy and review SPIR documentation, carry out spare parts/special tools inspection, transfer and part preservation program.

*Develop training program for technicians.
Commissioning phase
*Act as an execution team leader, leading a group of technicians / contractors to ensure commissioning package executed safely, with quality, cost efficient, manpower utilization, discipline & housekeeping
*Interface with Other craft specialist to accomplishing system commissioning
Planning
*Development of Job Safety Analysis.
*Interface with craft planner to ensure good alignment with task plan, scope of work, resource and cost estimation, feedback to planner where task change to update scope and cost.
*Assists skill planner in the preparation of job packs, development of job plans and short term schedule.
Execution
*Leading a group of technicians / contractors to ensure and manage all aspects of job safety, quality, cost, schedule, manpower utilization, discipline & housekeeping.
*Responsible for the execution of the week 1 short term schedule and the optimization decisions within it.
*Assigns work and supervises contractors in the execution of the repair or maintenance work activities.
*Take charge of planning, coordination and execution for break-ins promptly, involve planners if break-ins work falls into complex work category.
*Monitors job progress closely and remove barriers that will impede the safe, efficient and effective execution of the work. Resolves issues or conflicts timely.
*Conducts frequent job safety observations at targeted work steps during execution to support maintenance performance.
*Ensures proper handover of equipment to operations, including sign-off, LOTOs, PSSRs as necessary.
*Housekeeping, return of materials, refurbishments.
Improvement and post execution activities.
*Initiates follow-up activities such as the recycle of major activities and deviation from the plan activities.
*Provide appropriate feedback to Skill Planner on variances of schedule to facilitate improvement to future plans.
*Communicates and updates jobs status daily and updates to ETCs to the Maintenance Representative and/or Manufacturing Coordinators.
*Ensures equipment technical histories are captured in SAP
*Continues to explore work improvement opportunities in the area of cost and quality of repairs.
*Provide appropriate feed back to MC & Planner on ETC deviations.
Cost and expense control.
*Ensure accurate Service Entry Sheets (SES).
*Review and approve SES in a timely manner
*Work diligently to resolve payment issues with Contractors / vendors where there are variances in claims.
*Ensure Work Order is approved prior to start of work, where this is not possible due to emergency nature of work, WO should be raised by the next working day and Purchase Order issued as soon as practicable.  The respective craft manager should be informed accordingly.
*Inform the related party and seek the proper business approval for potential cost overun of the work.
*Timely financial close out of completed Work Orders.
Supervision
*Provide functional and administrative supervision to a group of company technicians.
*Achieve optimal work performance through consistent and regular coaching, feedback.
Stewardship Accountabilities
*Responsible for GRS execution related measures.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

 

1. Technical & analytical competence in Analyzer equipment at least 8 yrs relevant maintenance experience in Petrochemical analyzer craft.
2. Possess good supervisory, interpersonal and cross function communicative skills
3. Process good analytical & problem solving skill
4. Able to work under pressure and fast-paced environment
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities & peoples
6. Strong spirit of collaboration
7. Computer & SAP literate
