About you

 

•    Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Material, NDT or Metallurgy Engineering
•    At least 8 years of NDT inspection related experience in petrochemical industry i.e. Project Quality Assurance, Routine Inspection & NDT management  with strong emphasis on materials and equipment/ piping inspection.
•    Certified with minimal NDT level II in Dye Penetrant (PT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Testing (MT), NDT Level III  and PAUT level II candidates are preferred 
•    Familiar with Special Equipment knowledge and management; Familiar with CS/SS/Alloy material & welding knowledge;
•    Experience in international projects, multi-national company (MNC), Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise (WOFE) or JV is an advantage.
•    Basic speaking and writing English skills; Proficient in common PC software (MS Word, MS Excel, etc)

What you will do

 

•    Lead and supervise in-house inspectors to safely execute inspections activities to meet company standards.
•    Lead and supervise in-house inspectors to coordinate with Government Regulatory & Third Party NDT Vendors for Annual & Periodic & Routine inspection activities.
•    Allocate and distribute inspectors daily workload to ensure high site efficiency; Collect and summarize amount of NDT conducted by inspectors & Vendors for payment verification 
•    Conduct inspection activities and monitor job progress, coordinate with multifunctional teams for the removal of barriers that impede the safe, efficient and effective execution of the work
•    Review completed inspections task to confirm the tasks applies appropriate inspection technique and applicable codes/standards /specifications. ; Coach and support inspectors on NDT technique during inspection task
•    Assist planner in job schedule development. Identify and implement productivity and efficiency improvement opportunities.
•    Review and support inspection report quality.
•    Support and maintain effective Inspection Data Management system and filing system.
•    Deliver and improve upon inspection Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through regular monitoring and stewardships.
