Job Role Responsibilities

• Provide design input and review on ExxonMobil Huizhou Chemical Complex (HCC) firefighting related facilities engineering work 
• Support firefighting related facilities construction quality check as needed
• Prepare and participate firefighting related facilities commissioning, acceptance and start up
• Coordinate interfaces with Government agencies and external stakeholders on firefighting related regulatory compliance and permitting issues for HCC
• Help the firefighting and security organization and operating philosophy development and design to ensure the capability to effectively manage HCC fires and gas prevention
• Responsible for firefighting team recruitment
• Responsible for team firefighting and emergency rescue competency buildup and improvement
• Set safety culture and oversee the safety of all direct reports 
• Help the development of HCC emergency response / preparedness programs and other necessary systems /tools to ensure all work meet regulatory and EM requirements
• Ensure all firefighting equipment and vehicles are purchased right, operational and well maintained

Required Skills and Knowledge

• College degree or above in Engineering / Science / Safety
• 10+ working experience in petrochemical industry and 6+ years in firefighting or equivalent area 
• Have strong knowledge and skills in leadership, communication and expression and have at least 3 year’s team management experience
• Be familiar with firefighting related laws, regulations and systems
• Experience in petrochemical complex initial startup is an advantage
• Experience in international projects, MNC or JV is an advantage
• Basic English reading and writing skills
• Fire emergency professional training certificate
