What you will do

Support and assist to finalize all material H.S code classification, customs price pre-determination and ensure it compliance with China customs regulation.
Support and assist to apply permitting as requirement of H.S code, like naphtha quota, auto import permitting.
Prepare customs database including H.S code, key declaration elements etc.
Assist to manage import and export customs declaration processes to comply with new Import/Export Regulations and AEO requirements.
Support customs agents and Supply Chain with resolution of Import/Export issues
Support and assist on customs AEO certification, screening as AEO regulation and ensure timely closure of gaps
Report incidents/issues to Regional Supervisor and TRA as appropriate
Provide support to GBU in resolution of any customs issues or queries related to customs clearance and Preferential Certificate of Origin (PCOO) for EM exports to AP destinations
Support on GMOC (Global Management of Change) related to Trade/Customs portion
Support and assist to finalize all material H.S code classification, customs price pre-determination
Support and assist to apply naphtha quota and permitting
Prepare customs database
Assist to manage import and export customs declaration
Ensure China-1 Supply Chain readiness for Import/Export activities

About you

A minimum of 5 years’ experience with compliance to Import or Export regulations
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external personnel
Strong analytical and communication skills
Self-motivated individual requiring minimal management oversight
Ability to influence others through informal and indirect leadership
Ability to provide training and coaching to others
Supply Chain experience (a plus)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel
