What you will do

 

  • Deliver value, efficiency and expanded market advantage via end-to-end category management (from strategy to implementation) to the Business Unit through development of agreements to achieve total system cost
  • Support implementation of contracting initiatives/ Best Practices with emphasis on transactional & operational efficiency and value generation
  • Develop and maintain portfolio of agreements within craft labor category
  • Ensure Purchase of goods and services is cost effective and maximizes value for the business
  • Serve as a business partner to Business Unit key stakeholders by exploring contracting opportunities, providing sourcing and procurement services to their critical business requirements.
  • Identify business value and agreement rationalization opportunities within the portfolio
  • Response to market changes to sustain competitive advantage for the Business
  • Support Senior Category Manager in development and implementation of Category strategy and commercial guidance
  • Build/ Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers to drive value and innovation
  • Monitor KPIs on selected agreements or vendors as well as selected operational processes
  • Ensure transactional efficiency of agreements (SAP friendly)

 

About you

 

  • 5 to 8 years procurement related experience in the area of Manufacturing environment (refinery, chemical plant); Preferably with at least 5-years’ prior experience in managing craft labor contractor services purchases in a mega-scale manufacturing plant environment
  • Strong familiarity with the China’s craft labor marketplace for Oil & Gas industry.
  • Prior work experience project start up support would be strongly considered
  • Knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay (PtP) process – including use of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system and GEP system
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify new opportunities, challenge “status quo” and drive changes
  • Identify new suppliers that are competent to supply and support the plant locally with the right cost and framework
  • Effective negotiation, advocacy and influencing skill
  • Basic computer software applications
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written
