What role you will play in our team

 

Support the ASRS warehouse commissioning, startup and on-going operations. Contact engineer owner for warehouse facilities and operations.

 

 

What you will do

 

1) Before Start up, 

  • support onsite project activities such as detailed engineering reviews, HAZAMs, 3D Model Reviews, PSSRs, etc.
  • support development of ASRS equipment strategy and maintenance strategy based on OEM input
  • support 3rd party operator of ASRS to develop Business Continuity Plan and redundancy plan
  • develop ASRS operational requirements/automation optimization heuristics/KPIs to 3rd party operator of ASRS
  • develop R&R and interface procedures with 3rd party operators

 

2) Post-Start up, interface with onsite 3rd party operator of ASRS warehouse and OEM vendors to

  • Design, steward and drive 3rd party operator to meet the operational requirements/KPIs
  • Analyze ASRS overall performance and develop improvement plans (facilities, automation and operational rules) to improve efficiencies or reduce planning to operational cycle time
  • implement ASRS equipment strategy and maintenance strategy with 3rd party operator
  • ensure 3rd party interfaces (including equipment OEMs) are run smoothly
  • troubleshoot day-to-day ASRS operational issues, including both hardware and software

 

3) Support and assist with capital engineering projects that enhance the capability of ASRS and onsite logistics processes for continuous improvement.

 

4) Interact and collaborate with various technical organizations as needed:

  • EM Logistics Technology Specialists for GPPE, PP and LDPE
  • EM Engineering Specialists
  • EM Polymers Packaging specialists
  • EM Manufacturing & Startup team
  • EM SSHE 
  • ASRS Vendor & OEM
  • Warehouse Operations Contractor
  • Packaging Operations Contractor
  • Logistics & Distribution Operations Contractor

 

About You

 

  • Bachelor degree and above in Mechanical, Electrical, or ideally Mechatronic Engineering 
  • Min 2-3 years of ASRS warehousing operational experiences
  • Construction and Startup experience of ASRS Warehouse is preferred but not required
  • Packaging and supply chain experience is preferred but not required
  • Good understanding of ASRS WMS/WCS 
  • Good understanding of safety-rated sensors & barriers
  • Good understanding of pneumatic/hydraulic equipment
  • Self-driven and ability to influence without authority
  • Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Chinese
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with third party service providers
