Job Role Responsibilities:


•Safe start-up of the assigned units in ExxonMobil Chemical Huizhou Complex, meeting Project Objectives and Strategies
•SHE – uphold SHE standard and practices, foster the desired safety culture & behaviors, competency and leadership in the Start-Up team to ensure “Nobody Gets Hurt” and Safety as the prerequisite all the time. Report, investigate and learn from all incidents and near misses, eliminate root causes. Meet SHE and process safety targets
•Support the recruitment of maintenance team. Responsible for maintenance training and competency development to the required standard.
•Support maintenance strategy (e.g. contracting) development and system buildup.
•Responsible and accountable for all maintenance activities performed at the facility / plant / area. May be primarily focused on either routine or turnaround maintenance.
•Provides leadership and direction to achieve stewardship targets in assigned maintenance areas.
•Creates high performing teams: manages employee development; coaches, mentors and supervises direct reports.
•Responsible for contractors meeting performance expectations, manages contractor relationships
•Responsible for maintenance teams meeting applicable personnel and process safety, security, health, and environment (SSHE) requirements.
•Responsible for maintenance teams compliance with applicable ExxonMobil management systems.
•Responsible for maintenance teams compliance with all corporate, local and legal requirements and regulatory standards and customers' expectations.
•Responsible for development of maintenance strategies, planning, scheduling and execution of work activities to meet safety, quality and productivity objectives. Ensure Best Practices and Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) expectations are followed.
•Responsible for maintenance teams managing maintenance activities within the budget, identifies and captures efficiencies and prioritizes work commitments, stewards AFE's
•Ensures appropriate levels of management are informed of major issues and safety concerns.
•Ensures good communication across all facilities, so maintenance issues can be adequately addressed and actions completed.

Required Skills and Knowledge:


•College or bachelor degree in machinery / mechanical / Instrument / electrical engineering related major.
•More than 15 years working experience in Petrochemical industry or machinery manufacturer industry.
•Experience in Pre-commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up of process unit is an advantage.
•Experience in international projects, Multi-National Corporations or Joint Venture is an advantage.
•Good planning, supervisory, teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple activities and people
•Able to use English as the working language. Computer & SAP literate
