Responsibilities

•    Develop Integrated Site Run Plan Optimization for Steam cracker and Derivative units
–    Determine feedstock economics seriatim and feedstock break-even value (BEV) and optimized stream dispositions, providing the BEV to the commercial teams. 
–    Determine economic drivers for monthly runplan and events management (shutdowns and turnarounds) and providing clear signals to the manufacturing business teams. 
•    Coordinate monthly PIMS input submissions with Manufacturing Business Teams 
–    Constraints submission - Translate constraints into optimal PIMS inputs and boundaries and understand the rationale for each constraint (example capacity, maintenance, logistics constraints)
–    Maintain accurate manufacturing cost representation in the PIMS model
•    Drive forward 3 months run plan with Regional Optimization Team and Business Teams. 
–    Provide PIMS inputs to Regional Circuit PIMS Model
–    Review and determine the optimal runplan and communicate the runplan to the Site Optimization and Coordination Team and together execute the run plans with the Manufacturing Teams.
•    Drive site margin improvements such as margin improve projects and constraint busting reviews
–    Determine value of constraints to prioritize initiatives with Manufacturing Business Teams and Business Teams. 
 

Required Qualifications and Working Experience

•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering disciplines and/or economics
•    More than 5 years of working experience in a Refinery and/or Steam Crackers and Polymers Plants
•    In-depth technical and optimization for refinery, chemicals and utilities plants process flows, interfaces and economics drivers
•    Good understanding of feedstock supply/pricing and products markets/pricing
•    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
•    Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capability
•    Work well under pressure and ability to interact with personnel from multi functions and disciplines
•    In-depth knowledge of ROMEO, PIMS, Excel tools
 

Preferred Qualifications and Working Experience

•    Good understanding of the Supply Chain Operation and Product movement through ships, pipeline and trucks
•    Good understand of Shipping operation, freight cost, inco-terms and demurrage mitigations
•    Understanding of Industrial terminal operation and associated cost and interfaces with manufacturing facilities
