ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

 

Seeking a highly motivated, self-starting leader with a passion for building and optimizing supply chain programs from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on taking initiative, driving innovation, and creating structure where none exists. The SC Program Lead will be responsible for designing and executing a best-in-class program management for the Wells Unconventional Business Unit (BU), with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and interface management.
 
This is a unique opportunity to build something foundational, influence strategy, and shape the future of how logistics are managed across the Permian and other unconventional regions.
                                                                           

What you will do

 

Program Management:

 

  • Lead end-to-end management of materials and logistics for the SC-managed program
  • Build SC program structure, governance, and performance frameworks from the ground up
  • Define, develop, and implement a scalable and sustainable SC program for the Unconventional Business Unit (BU)

 

Supply Chain Optimization:

 

  •  Identify and implement efficiency opportunities to improve reliability and reduce cost of service.
  • Drive cost transparency and accountability across the SC-managed program.
  • Develop and track operational KPIs to measure and improve performance.
  • Apply innovative thinking and best practices to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Identify synergies / opportunities across Unconventional regions (Permian, Bakken, US Conventional, etc.).

 
Stakeholder Collaboration: 

 

  • Establish & maintain external service provider relationships focused on ensuring efficient and effective SC performance for managed program
  • Support development and alignment of overall SC Partnership Agreement between SC & BU
  • Work closely with key stakeholders as outlined in SC Partnership Agreement to continuously improve SC managed program
  • Engage BU to improve forecasting / planning processes; algin / enable S&OP/E to standardize processes
  • Collaborate with Commercial Teams (such as Procurement and Americas Infrastructure) to ensure best in class commercials & capture commercial scale

 

Risk Management: 

 

  • Champion safety and PSMS culture with all service providers.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate risks related to logistics, quality, and operational disruptions.
  • Develop contingency strategies to ensure continuity and resilience.
     

Performance Monitoring: 

 

  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to evaluate program success and identify improvement areas.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to SC and BU leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations 

 
Compliance and Sustainability: 

 

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards and internal policies
  • Promote sustainable practices with SC including reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact

 
Team Leadership: 

 

  • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members and cross-functional partners.

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in SC Management, Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in SC management, program management, or a related role
  • 5-10 years' experience in oil and gas industry (Unconventional experience preferred)
