Curriculum Manager

Job Role Summary

Curriculum Managers partner with internal business leadership and talent management teams to determine global curriculum required to achieve strategic goals, curate learning solutions and drive a learning culture across the organization.  Position is located in Houston, TX.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Curates learning solutions to enhance capability development based on skills gap assessment data, needs assessments, training KPIs and metrics
  • Partners with and advises internal business clients.  Leads needs assessments, design and development of learning solutions
  • Develops, evaluates, maintains and improves learning plans to match business priorities and facilitates timely achievement of desired learner skill proficiency
  • Analyzes and utilizes learning and competency data to drive decisions, manage curricula portfolios and balance effectiveness with efficiency of learning solutions
  • Advises clients on alternative solutions (e.g. potential meaningful experiences) when traditional learning solutions are not the most effective option
  • Evaluates potential learning strategies and makes recommendations using deep business acumen and understanding of the business
  • Ensures that the learning framework is applied in support of learning processes, including managing the process for full life-cycle learning solution portfolio management
  • Manages curriculum projects with external training vendors
  • Works with internal learning innovation team to stay abreast of the development, design and sustainment of learning solutions trends

Job Requirements

  • Master's, MBA, JD, or PHD degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, HR, Law, Education)
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant learning experience, human resource or business experience.  Knowledge of petrochemical sector preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of time
