ExxonMobil is based out of the Houston Area in Spring, Texas. We are accepting applications for our 2026 intern opportunities for various business and commercial roles within Finance, Low Carbon Solutions, the Upstream, Global Trading, Supply Chain, Procurement, Real Estate and Land, Product Solutions, and Human Resources.
 

About you

 

We seek students who are passionate about what they do and are eager to learn more about the energy industry.  Students with strong academic performance in core programs, leadership, and communication skills pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in the following business and commercial disciplines are encouraged to apply:

 

Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Energy Management / Commerce, Trading, Risk and Investment, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Distribution, Data Analytics, Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources

What you will do

Internships

 

At ExxonMobil, as a business and commercial intern, you’ll have the opportunity to be a part of world class teams and gain hands-on experience and skills working on real world projects that create impact. 
 
In addition to your project work, you will have opportunities to tour our facilities, learn from senior leaders, and engage with a wide range of experienced professionals and other students. You will also be included in a variety of social events that allow our interns to engage further with their cohort, recent graduates, and other professionals and senior leaders across the organization. 
 
Duration of our summer internships are typically 3 months. Successful interns may receive the opportunity to return for another intern assignment, or full-time employment.

Our business and commercial interns are predominantly located at our main corporate office in Spring, Texas, with select opportunities in the following locations:

Individual pay will be determined based on various factors including degree/education, discipline, year of study, skills, abilities, qualifications, and work experience. 

 

Illinois Equal Pay Act

 

Pursuant to the Illinois Equal Pay Act, for Illinois employment, the expected annual salary range for this position is $40,000 - $145,000 base salary ($/year).
