What role you will play in our team
Responsible for performing safe and efficient scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the Company aircraft and facilities in support of Aircraft Operations. Performs Fuel Operations procedures on the Company fuel farm and fuels Company aircraft. Accountable for compliance with OIMS and CIMS assessments and IS-BAO audits.
What you will do
Aircraft Technician Duty Assignments:
- Performs maintenance on Company aircraft as needed to correct discrepancies, complete original equipment manufacturer’s scheduled inspections (including preflight and post flight turn-around), and other maintenance activity as required to maintain aircraft airworthiness status.
- As directed by the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor and/or the Lead Technician, performs other duties as needed or assigned i.e., maintaining currency and proficiency of the technical library, aircraft manuals and documentation, computer support programs, spare parts & fixed assets inventory, and numerous other administrative duties and collateral assignments.
- On an annual basis, attends professional aircraft maintenance recurrent training that includes a review of all aircraft major components i.e., airframe, engines, and avionics.
Aircraft Fueler duty assignments:
- Perform Fuel Operations procedures. To include performing quality control checks on incoming fuel loads, perform daily quality control checks on the fuel farm, complete daily inventory control documentation, fuel Company aircraft, and complete the required Company training.
Hangar duty assignments:
- Performs maintenance on hangar facility and support equipment as needed to maintain functionality, reliability, and safety of Company assets used in support of flight operations. Supervision Exercised (list number of incumbents under direct supervision by position title) N/A - Work direction is primary from the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor. Additionally, the Manager of Aircraft Operations may direct specific tasks. Is responsible to the Trip Captain and the Co-Captain when dispatching an aircraft or marshalling. May also act independently within confines of assigned duties.
About you
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
A. Formal Education – minimum schooling:
- High School Diploma
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant license
- Preferred FAA Inspection Authorization license
B. Experience – amount and kind:
- Minimum of 3 years of corporate aviation or equivalent maintenance experience and OEM or equivalent training on the type of aircraft currently operated by the Company i.e., large cabin Gulfstream aircraft.
C. Other:
- Ability to perform aircraft ramp operations. To include marshaling and servicing of Company and visiting aircraft
