What role you will play in our team

 

Operator I will be conduction field and plant production operations. The position will be working in Delhi, LA field working a 7&7 position.

What you will do

 

  • Responsible for the day-to day activities in their areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure that all well-checking and reporting activities are conducted safely and cost effectively.
  • Focus on a time horizon of daily through one month and report issues and opportunities beyond their accountability in support of the Region’s targets and goals.
  • Works within a team structure to meet the performance objectives set out for the specific areas of responsibility.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day activities of the required tasks and any contractors associated with work within their area of responsibility.
  • Assist Production Foreman with the monthly budgeting process and make recommendations for ways to reduce cost.
  • Learn and implement new standards as they are rolled out to the field.
  • Supports LOE optimization efforts across the Delhi Field.
  • Acts as a in-field lead on small projects to maintain base load production.
  • Own and accountable for the deliverance of Company HSE goals in their areas of responsibility.
  • Promotes and participates in safe, effective, and cost-efficient operations in the alignment of the Region’s annual budgets, plans, HSE, and company standards.
  • Complete the required training to enable them to perform at the highest level.
  • Understand and utilizes operator and production reporting procedures
  • Responsible for well locations, Right-of-Ways, and facilities.
  • Supports work activities of all crafts.
  • Utilize the MOC system where changes are needed.
  • Utilize SAP to manage their area of responsibility by using the SAP’s PM and CM work order process.
  • Participate in incident and operational upset investigations, working with operations and maintenance functions.
  • Implement appropriate controls for critical intervention activities to minimize a loss of containment risk.
  • Utilize the Safe Work practices to ensure compliance with processes.
  • Ensure that their areas of responsibility comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Responsible for assisting with the maintenance planning, plant reliability, and turnaround activities.
  • Is expected to develop and demonstrate leadership and increasing competency in all aspects of operations.

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years direct experience with oil and gas production practices, equipment, and terminology.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Cygnet, EVIN, SAP, OneNote, or similar systems.
  • Have and maintain valid driver’s license.
  • Work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions.
  • Work 7x7, 12-hour work schedule with call out.
  • Climb heights up to 24’ on stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to troubleshooting normal production issues.

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Work will be conducted in many settings including the district office, field offices, and oil and gas production facilities on land.
  • Work may require standing, stooping, walking, climbing, carrying instruments weighing up to 40 pounds, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, and wearing various personal protective equipment.
  • In addition, work may require travel by land, water, and air.
  • Candidate must be medically cleared to don full-face respiratory protection and complete “Pass” the annual FIT Testing requirements in accordance with the Company’s Respiratory Protection Program.
