Job Role Summary

ExxonMobil's Medicine and Occupational Health (MOH) Department is currently seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner to provide occupational health services at the Irving Head Office facility located in Dallas, TX.  

Job Role Responsibilities
  • Provision / documentation of services within the professional scope and standards of license specific to occupational health care of employees
  • Perform routine medical surveillance and fitness for duty examinations as required by global and local MOH evaluation protocols
  • Conduct clinical assessments to determine fitness for duty (understand relationship between work functions and medical condition which guide decision making)
  • Disability case management of work-related and personal illnesses and injuries
  • Manage work-related medical conditions, evaluate injuries for OSHA recordability
  • Provision of emergency medical treatment for injury / illness at work
  • Work / communicate with local business line management regarding occupational health issues and service delivery
  • Administrative duties related to delivery of the occupational health service, including scheduling of appointments, maintenance of records, supplies, medications and equipment
  • Provide health related training / seminars to site employees
Job Requirements
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) – Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner or equivalent
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Texas Nursing Licensure required
  • Prescriptive authority, DEA certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Occupational Health Nursing
  • Experienced in applied clinical health risk assessment and fitness for work determination
  • Experienced in travel health and immunization practices
  • Familiar with medical record systems and Microsoft Office
  • Active Certifications in Drug & Alcohol Collection, NIOSH Spirometry, CAOHC Audiometry, Blood-borne pathogens training and CPR
  • ACLS Certification
