What role you will play in our team

 

Team member and Support analyst for eDiscovery collection application tool and workflow. This role supports business critical data and a high risk application and processes. The role is the primary support resource for a team of ~4 collectors who utilize the application, as well as the liaison to Law for examining and explaining technologies the tool interacts with for eDiscovery collections. Location: Curitiba, Paraná

What you will do

 

Provide daily support for FTK (Forensic Toolkit) Central and collectors 

  •    Manage upgrades and functionality of on-premise application
  •    Use scripting and other support skills to diagnose issues and pull reporting as needed
  •    Explain issues to collectors and Law (timely) at an appropriate level for their understanding
  •    Document and maintain collection processes (Process, Risk Assessments, Security Model, ITPA, DBM)

Provide support for manual collection process when standard tools cannot collect data

  •    Troubleshoot with IT Service Organizations (email, server ops, SharePoint, applications) when manual collections run into technical challenges (missing access, EFS and RMS encryption, failed jobs)
  •    Work with IT Service Organizations to quickly escalate priority collections
  •    Create/Resolve manual collection incidents and work with resolver team to improve their processes and response time to prevent reoccurrence
  •    Engage with their engineers to troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and enhancements
  •    Hold vendor accountable to resolve issues quickly to avoid recycle and delay on legal required deadlines

 

Project: Work on the lift and shift and implementation of the next iteration of FTK Central 
Secondary: Citizen Developer for eDiscovery collection forms in ServiceNow
Future: Onboarding of new technologies for decryption, data storage either on the Cloud or on Prem.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Application Support (ability to decipher logs to understand root cause or unexpected behavior)
  • Powershell scripting
  • Skilled SQL ANSI experience
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating systems and file storage
  • Quality of Work – Output of team is held to a high standard accuracy. Attention to detail is necessary. 
  • Quantity of Work – Adaptable to waves; seeking someone to solve root cause and document to prevent reoccurrence
  • Sense of urgency for completing time sensitive work
  • Ability to interface and communicate properly with LAW including technical writing at proper business level
  • Customer focused mindset and attitude without losing the technical
  • Drives work to completion
  • Appreciation and adherence to proper management of sensitive data and chain of custody
  • Sensitivity and experience with drafting and owning security & controls documents
  • Willingness to develop relationships to better our influence (DBAM, SharePoint, e-mail, Server/Storage, Modern Client, WAN, AA, CES)
  • Mentors and trains collectors and junior members of the Team regularly on processes/solutions"
  • IT related graduation
  • English - Advanced/Fluent
