Job Role Summary


This position provides the opportunity to grow technically while working closely with the business to expand business process knowledge in the Supply Chain Domain. The specific role may be supporting custom built SAP trading solutions (ETRM-like application), or supporting standard and custom SAP tools for inventory management (reporting, reconciliation and automation tools) - depending on the candidate's skillset

Job Role Responsibilities


- Provide high level SAP user support for custom built and standard tools and processes
- Work on the design of new functionality / enhancements to custom built SAP tools as well as standard SAP processes in the SD/MM space - liaise with customers for requirement gathering, produce technical design documentation, work with programmers in implementation and testing, coordination of cutover activities
- Execute configuration work for SAP processes in the SD/MM space (e.g. pricing, condition records, document types, etc.)

Expected Level of Proficiency


- Solid experience with SD and/or MM modules of SAP (3-5 years minimum) as a functional analyst; power user experience appreciated but not sufficient
- Ability to read / debug ABAP code for troubleshooting purposes (no actual programming required)
- Experience with producing technical documentation and navigating the typical steps in implementing SAP changes (configuration, change management process, code management, testing, cutover)
- Good communication and coordination skills for dealing with business customers as well as a diverse global team
- Knowledge and experience with Agile practices is a differentiator
- Experience with HANA is a differentiator
- Experience with IS-OIL and TSW modules is a differentiator
- Business knowledge on commodity trading desired is a differentiator
- Business knowledge on supply chain processes is a differentiator
