Speed to Market Lab Analyst

Job Role Summary

•The Lab Support team is primarily responsible for the engineering, maintenance, and support of the Speed-to-Market Lab environment.
•Speed-to-Market Lab overview
•The single, logically connected, global lab environment for the EMIT infrastructure organization
•Production-like functionality and integration across infrastructure technologies, including internet capabilities
•Kept evergreen with the collaborative support and expertise of the SDOs
•Serves as the “first site” in production rollout plans to provide a realistic (but non-disruptive) test experience

Job Role Responsibilities

•Provide engineering and technical support for new and existing infrastructure
•Fulfill service requests (e.g., new VMs) which are submitted to the ITSM queue
•Establish/Maintain relationships with EMIT service line groups that need a controlled environment to test and develop new technologies and initiatives
•Maintain balance between providing production-like computing environment and agile testing environment

Expected Level of Proficiency

Mandatory Technical Skills:
•Basic understanding of working with Windows applications / windows environment
•Basic understanding of Microsoft Operating systems
•Basic understanding of server hardware (Dell / HP)
•Basic Operations Background
•Server build / implementation / maintenance activities
•Server Hardware/Monitoring Tools

General Skills:
•Experience in working in global environment / leading global & virtual teams
•Ability to learn new technical environments
•Works well in a team environment
•Strong English communication and coordination skills.
•Self-starter, strong Time Management skills
