What role you will play in our team

 

As a Product & Project Office Track Lead, you will be tasked with providing comprehensive support to IT projects and programs. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively by developing and managing project cost and schedule estimates, resource plans, project controls, project funding approvals, economic analysis, and information management. You will also assist in tracking project performance, supporting project teams in obtaining necessary approvals, and providing insights on cost and schedule performance.

What you will do

 

  • Provide support to IT projects in developing and managing project cost and schedule estimates.
  • Develop associated resource plans, project controls, project funding approvals, economic analysis, and information management.
  • Effectively apply project tracking and control techniques, including reviewing and analyzing project controls data and trends.
  • Support project managers in obtaining project funding, reviews, and approvals, ensuring appropriate capture and storage of related endorsements.
  • Assist project managers in developing economic analyses and models, including facilitating the development of benefits capture plans.
  • Provide insight and expertise on issues related to cost and schedule performance.
  • Advise on project methods (such as EMCAPS - Internal best practices for project management), tools, and learnings.
  • Ensure quality assurance on project cost and schedule estimates.

 

About you

  • Project Management Methodologies:In-depth understanding of various project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and EMCAPS (Internal best practices for project management).
  • Economic Analysis:Knowledge of economic analysis and modeling techniques to facilitate the development of benefits capture plans.
  • Resource Planning:Understanding of resource planning and management to develop associated resource plans and project controls.
  • Quality Assurance:Knowledge of quality assurance practices to ensure project cost and schedule estimates are accurate and reliable.
  • Risk Management:Familiarity with risk management processes to identify potential issues and develop contingency plans.
  • Familiarity with project stewardship and estimation is essential for this role.

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline or a related IT field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in project management or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools like or PowerBI is an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
