Come be part of the Product Solutions Department of ExxonMobil Business Support Center Brasil Ltda. at our Global Business Center (GBC) in Curitiba, with more than 21 years of presence in the country and a workforce of ~1800 employees, that provides support to an extensive portfolio of businesses across the globe. Our offices are located in Brazil, USA, Europe and Asia.
What role you will play in our team
Within the Sales & Marketing Operations team, the Product Lifecycle Advisor primarily supports the Americas Product Management team within ExxonMobil Product Solutions, developing relationships across other functional teams to drive strategic insights and initiatives. In driving business profitability, you will engage in a dynamic mix of routine and non-routine activities, leveraging skills in communication, leadership, analysis, and problem-solving to prioritize and support key opportunities within the Chemicals businesses.
What you will do
- Identify, recommend, execute and oversee regional (potentially global) profit improve initiatives including management of change
- Optimize product lines and/or grade slates (prioritize new product needs, decommissions, sustainability initiatives, SKU cost-to-serve)
- Clearly communicate asset competitiveness targets and performance; drive and present progress against targets
- Coordinate and participate in business team meetings, ensuring product compliance and performance through cross-functional collaboration (e.g., Supply Chain, Sales)
- Lead execution of Product Management processes (master data reviews, grade development, change management)
- Support product innovation and commercialization (i.e. new product trial coordination) ensuring strict adherence to defined processes and milestones
- Comprehend customer feedback, prioritize improvement opportunities and ensure effective closure
- Understand high-consequence financial risks to assets and ensure optimized risk mitigation strategies
- Engage both face-to-face and virtually with colleagues across Americas, sometimes globally
- Coordinate and lead response to unplanned events potentially impacting product delivery
About you
Analytical professional skilled in using data and critical thinking to generate insights. Highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation. Collaborative team player, experienced in working across global teams and managing competing priorities. Profit-driven, consistently demonstrates initiative and courage to propose improvements that enhance business performance.
- University degree in a technical field preferred; business administration or similar acceptable with relevant work experience
- Prior work experience; previous product management or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook with working knowledge of intermediate Excel features (e.g., pivot tables) required
- Fluent English is a must, including communication clarity
