What role you will play in our team

 

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects in Infield Logistics area according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, as well as have regular meetings with stakeholders and management to report the status of the project.

What you will do

 

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Proficiency in managing all phases of a project, from initiation to closure, including planning, executing, monitoring, and closing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, cloud services, and data management.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban to manage projects flexibly and efficiently.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Vendor Management: Clear and effective communication with vendors to ensure expectations are understood and met. As well as managing contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and addressing any issues that arise."
  • Leadership: Inspiring and guiding teams towards achieving project goals.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
  • Decision-Making: Making informed and timely decisions, often under pressure.
  • Time Management: Prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative and analytical thinking to overcome challenges and obstacles
