In this opportunity we are looking for the following profiles:
IT analyst for Trading Applications, who will be responsible for supporting key business applications and associated interfaces used globally by the fuels business.  These applications enable our business understand and manage risk in order to capitalize on commercial opportunities. The person filling the role will work as part of the global support team on base support, enhancements, projects, and business consulting as required. A strong understanding of the IT supply chain and IT support paired with effective communication skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and core technical skills are foundational to the success in this position.
Customer Engagement analyst, who will provide the best in class customer service and IT solutions which enable our business customers to win in the markets they compete. This includes interfacing with local and global IT service partners to support the effective delivery of technical solutions, process improvements and seamless support required to power our businesses. Work closely with business customers to understand their needs, delivering increased business value through innovation and advanced technology while sustaining reliability, security and controls, and cost effectiveness.

Job Role Responsibilities

As part of a global IT team supports our growing trading business within the Downstream. The position provides opportunity to grow technology knowledge while working closely with the business to expand business process knowledge in the Supply Chain Domain. 
Strong understanding of IT processes so be able to effectively operate/support business critical technical infrastructure/services. Effective above-site network maintenance to ensure standardized solutions and support models in place. Understanding of business/IT S&C (Security and Controls) of new/special local IT services to provide consultancy to business. The employee shall coordinate IT support services delivery, establishes effective communication and relations within the team.

 

Customer Engagement responsibilities:
•    Interview and understand requirements from customers to Develop/automate processes using SharePoint, Nintex, Office Tools)
•    Provide trainings/events on Productivity Tools for End-users
•    Develop communications (emails, folders)

Expected Level of Proficiency

•    Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or IT-related fields
•    Functional experience supporting SAP MM or SD modules
•    Experience in end-user application support
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Able / willing to travel internationally on occasion (< 10%)
•    Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to work with cross-functional IT and business teams
•    Strong Advantage: Working knowledge of Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems and asset-backed trading principles (e.g. position management, priced inventory, etc.)
•    Working knowledge of Agile Frameworks (i.e. Scrum and Kanban)
•    Coordinate IT projects implementation.
•    Support company digital strategy and IT roadmap implementation.
•    Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease outages, streamline work processes, and work jointly with EMIT or third-parties to provide high quality service.
•    Share technical and process knowledge across sites & functions to enable shared consciousness.
•    Drive optimization on the differentiated support process.
•    Perform Vendor Management – maintain local relationship with global service provider (i.e. Xerox, HP, Dell) and manage relationship with local providers.
•    Fulfill other duties as required and determined by Customer Experience Department in accordance with applicable rules, regulations and employee competency.
•    Knowledge in Productivity Tools: SharePoint, Nintex Workflow, Office tools, Photoshop, Visio.
