Job Role Summary

 

The Full Stack Web Developer job description includes using a range of different technologies and languages (such as Java, .NET, Rest API, JavaScript, HTML, Angular Js/8+, CSS) to develop applications. Full Stack Developers approach software holistically since they cater to both user experience and functionality.

Job Role Responsibilities


- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
- Write technical documentation
- Work with data scientists, system architects, and analysts to improve software
- Design and construction of our REST API
- Integrating our front-end UI with the constructed API
- Design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment

Expected Level of Proficiency

 

- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Experience developing web applications
- Familiarity with common stacks
- Familiarity with Unity Test and TDD
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, Angular Js/8+, XML, jQuery)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java 8, .NET) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
- Knowledge of API-related languages, tools, frameworks (e.g. REST, SOAP, Mulesoft, OpenShift, GitHub, Json)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field
