Job Role Summary and Responsibilities

o Steward DBMS license management process throughout the product lifecycle
o Ensure key information is kept up to date
o Identify opportunities to maximize cost savings

o Understand vendor licensing policies
o Help the team to achieve the maximum possible cost savings and cost avoidance for DBMS software licensing and maintenance
o Streamline the license management process to keep it evergreen
o Keep track of DBMS software licenses and entitlements
o Assist with forecasting analysis
o Assist with coordination of rightsizing initiatives to optimize the licensing footprint

 

Expected Level of Proficiency

o Advanced Excel skills
o Oracle/SQL understanding (high level)
o Programming skills (nice to have)
o Problem solving, analytical and coordination skills
