What role you will play in our team
Are you motivated to join ExxonMobil as an Engineering Graduate? If you are passionate about safety, building positive relationships, and working within a strong team environment, then we have the role for you! We currently have an opportunity within our Technology and Engineering team.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and TypeScript (React and NodeJS)
- Collaborate with senior developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Assist in the deployment and management of applications on cloud platforms.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experiencing building and deploying Cloud resources (Azure preferable)
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- JavaScript, Testing, Cloud, Azure, Software Development Lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Understanding of cloud platforms and services
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries (React)
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
