Information Technology Professional - New Grad

ExxonMobil's Information Technology Early Professional Development Program (IT EPDP) aims to fast track the development of employees that are in the early stages of their career.  IT EPDP helps new graduates to develop a strong foundation in a variety of technologies & business areas by providing industry exposure, formal training and work experience within a global IT organization.


These are some of the initial roles that are available:

  • Customer Enablement Analyst: you will provide technical consulting and operational support for servers, data storage, network infrastructure and IT facilities for Imperial Oil and other ExxonMobil affiliates across Canada.  This role will allow you to gain technical infrastructure experiences and develop communication skills through extensive collaboration within EMIT across Canada and globally.
  • Productivity Enablement Analyst: you will work closely with PE Advisors and Analysts to replicate and/or deliver new innovative solutions that increase the productivity of our Canadian customers.  This includes interfacing with other IT groups globally to support the effective delivery of technical solutions, process improvements and seamless support to the business.
  • Developer: you will work closely with a development team to develop prototype solutions to address challenging business problems.  This may involve technologies, such as ReactJS, C#, SQL, and Python. This includes interfacing with business and technical contacts, seeking new and innovative approaches, developing prototypes and explaining ideas to a broad audience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Engineering or,
    • Science (e.g. Computer Science, Geoscience) or,
    • Commerce (i.e. IT Management / Management Information Systems)

  • Strong interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate sound analytical and problem-solving skills

Eligibility to work in Canada
