Our Global Business Center (GBC) in Buenos Aires was established in 2004 and our diverse and multinational workforce of more than 2800 colleagues have been powering ExxonMobil’s global businesses ever since. We are proud to be part of an inclusive, safe, and vibrant work environment.
The IT department is seeking new candidates to its dynamic team. The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration thru site development to production.
What role you will play in our team
- Modernize a legacy desktop engineering application developed in multiple programming languages. Design and develop in-house cloud applications, contribute to Security & Controls documentation (Risk Assessments, Security Models, Risk Mitigation).
- Our office is located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with developers and users from around the world.
What you will do
- Design and implement software components and APIs as part of an agile team
- Work alongside other software developers on highly technical projects and deliver high quality contribution to codebase, documentation, and testing
- Follow engineering best practices towards ensuring performance, reliability, and security
- Participate in software reviews, conduct code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development team
About you
- Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Analysis or similar.
- Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering role, following security best practices
