Job Role Summary

A Container Cloud Engineer designs, builds, implements and monitors cloud-native architectures with Kubernetes and related technologies for our customers across the organization. This professional provides Container consulting services to help drive customers towards the most appropriate and cost effective hosting option.

Responsibilities

Define and implement our containerization technology strategies

Ensure our container orchestration cluster is highly available

Build and deploy best practices within the Kubernetes practice area

Rotational minimal L2 on-call support

All these activities and many more are supported by our Agile teams with expertise in different technologies

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering/IT or close to graduating

Advanced verbal and written communication English skills

Comprehensive Linux understanding (installation, configuration and administration)

At least 2 years of experience with containerization in Openshift, Kubernetes and Docker

Prior experience with any cloud vendor (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP)

Verifiable hands-on experience working with Terraform, ARM/CloudFormation templates or similar technologies

Continuous learning mindset

Desired Skills

Manage automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Ansible, Puppet)

Monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, Wazuh, SCOM)

Scripting experience (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Bash, Korn Shell)

Proficiency in code versioning tools (e.g. Git), experience with build management and CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, TFS / Azure DevOps, GitLab)

Unit test and debugging skills / troubleshooting
