Job Role Summary

 

The Business Analyst’s responsibility is to be the steward of the Materials Management application (Cendec), while ensuring full controls requirements are satisfied. This role supports the materials management needs for our Upstream Oil & Gas organization and Unconventional Business Units.

Job Role Responsibilities

 

• Focal point for Business Line. Work with IT and Inventory Management teams to implement solutions that meet business requirements.
• Maintain administrative oversight of Cendec data
• Continuously improve Cendec data, application and interfaces
• Reconcile Warehouse (225) and Material Sales (188) BSAM balances monthly
• Identify and resolve any disruption to interfaces between SAP and Cendec CORE.
• Engage Controllers and BCOE as required, to ensure all Cendec Material Transfers post in SAP
• Resolve invoices that fail to come into Cendec. Place necessary JVs,  MTs, and SQL script requests
• Prepare and post Warehouse (225) Invoice Accruals in SAP
• Setup new material numbers in Cendec and OpenInvoice
• Request, Document, Test,  required Cendec updates
• Coordinate implementation of Cendec KPIs and reports
• Ensure proper accounting  and transactional efficiency of material and equipment purchases, transfers and dispositions
• Update and provide documentation, training materials

Expected Level of Proficiency

 

Job Requirements:
• BBA, BS, MBA, MS in Accounting or Finance or Supply Chain or Information Technology
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills
• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is required
• Data Analysis experience
