We are Procurement. As a team of highly motivated and diverse professionals, we add value to the business by providing support to procurement professionals or end users (Business & Service Lines) which may include creating requisitions, services and goods confirmations, invoices administration, as well as creating and maintaining contracts for materials services and freight in SAP used by various business lines. Overall support to the end users in the different steps of the PtP (Purchase to Pay) process may be part of the role as well. Great customer service, and process & controls oriented mindset will be essencial for day-to-day activities.

What role you will play in our team
- Buying Team: Provides support to business lines by releasing purchase orders to vendors and troubleshooting when necessary for any PtP issues (Purchase to Pay).
- Job to be performed in Buenos Aires city. Area: Puerto Madero
What you will do
- Work with Contractors, Payables and Projects Accountants to troubleshoot when issues arise
- Processes a queue of requisitions and converts to purchase orders on a daily basis
- Collects written proposals from vendors as needed
- Conducts simple negotiations of pricing.
- Addresses invoice discrepancies from the purchase order or the goods receipt and approves invoice payment for any additional freight costs not accounted for on purchase order
- Liaises with the strategic buyer regarding project or turnaround purchases and potential bundles
- Provides support to ensure timely invoice payment.
- Handles any PO maintenance for orders processed (e.g. update PO text, delivery date, pricing, quantity, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Desirable to have Bachelor’s degree in law, business, or related area of study (or enrolled in a program within 2 years of graduation)
- Able to accurately read, draft and understand basic legal terms
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in legal support, as a contract administrator, secretary, or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word with a focus on drafting and editing legal documents
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint with a focus on document management
- Ability to quickly learn new software and processes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong command of legal English terminology
