TRANSACTION SPECIALIST

 

In our Budapest office, you will become will be responsible for the administrative handling of  orders, for direct deals (within Benelux and Germany) and  administrative handling of orders, shipping notifications, deliveries and shipment in SAP. Demonstrated performance will lead to opportunities for increasing responsibilities and more job complexities across the organization.

 

You will:

 

  • Responsibility for the SAP reference  set-up in E-stripes and Global Order Management
  • SAP order input is based on the SAP instructions sent by barge or program coordinator
  • Delivery, Shipping Notification and Shipment creation
  • Communication of the orders to barge / program coordinators
  • Handling of nomination change
    • Load / Discharge Date
    • Vehicle name
    • Quantity
    • Material
  • Keeping contact with contract admin in case of contract changes
  • Follow-up on PMI volumetric issues and inquiries
  • Will need to be ‘on call’ outside office hours periodically to follow up potential urgent items

Your profile:

 

  • Bachelor/Master degree (or pending degree with only the final exam outstanding) in Business Economics/Logistics/International Business Administration or equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface across functions in a geographically diverse, multi-cultural and partly virtual organization
  • Excellent time management, well organized and structured
  • Works independently, proactively and prioritize workload under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to understand contracting/agreement`s language, contract management processes
  • Good analytical skills
  • Team player
  • Basic accounting knowledge (as an advantage)
  • Proficient with computer tools mainly SAP / Excel / limited Word / SharePoin
  • Good communication skills (English and preferably local language, both written and verbally
  • Process oriented with continuous improvement mindset
