Fuels and Lubes Digital team in Budapest is working as part of ExxonMobil’s global organization and accelerate high-value, actionable insights through the delivery of state-of-the-art, scalable, enterprise data platforms, data science and analytics solutions for our global internal ExxonMobil customers.

 

 

Product Advisor

 

 

We are looking for UK Terminals Systems Support Analyst, in our growing Fuels and Lubes Digital team to act as Subject Matter Expert for our different UK terminals systems.
The Systems Support Analyst is the primary contact from the terminals operational folks for any UK applications & systems performance, configuration change and reliability improvements needs.

He works in collaboration with EMIT experts, local system vendors, global contracted vendors, project teams and business stakeholders to maintain, improve system reliability and prevent any cyber-attacks.  

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Leverages IT and business intelligence skills to support terminal users to assist users, maintain and improve system reliability. 
  • Proactively engages with EMIT experts, local system vendors, global contracted vendors, project teams and business stakeholders to troubleshoot, fix terminal automation system issues and prevent re-occurrence.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning, efficiency and sustainable improvements.
  • Measures how the system vendors are delivering - Monitor/support/enhance system capability and effectiveness – Act as business system service contract owner.
  • Acts as Custodian for several systems, supporting elaboration of system risk assessment and performing some key controls.
  • Project Support - identify requirements on behalf of the business, participates in project design workshops, UAT with development team & users assistance at start up.

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

 

  • University degree in with Computer Science/Engineering
  • 5 - 10 + years of experience in a fast paced environment/multinational company
  • Ability to work virtually, flexibility in work schedule and with Autonomy.
  • Excellent verbal communication in English, very strong interpersonal skill, good influencing and persuasion skills
  • Experience with industrial automation systems (PLCs, SCADA…), basic knowledge of SQL/Linux (other programming experience), willingness to learn system functionalities, data structure and different business scenarios is an advantage.
  • Strong initiative, interpersonal, change management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Willingness for continuous professional development and improvements
