Open positions in Payroll

 

We are recruiting for two open positions: one in the Hungary Payroll Operations team (fluent Hungarian is a must), and another one handling Italy Time Attendance System (fluent Italian is a must) along with Payroll Accounting activities for Nordic countries. 

 

Payroll Operation activities in general include:

•    Process / input data that impact payroll timely and accurately 
•    Process payroll activities for employees and ensure timely and accurate transfer of funds to banks 
•    Work with Payroll Vendor and IT Support Team to resolve system configuration problems and issues
•    Prepare & Distribute Payroll Calendars  
•    Operates and review the payroll process in collaboration with a Vendor Payroll service provider
•    Provides Payroll Customer Service 
•    Management of Change coordination Payroll System and Time Attendance System changes
•    Time Attendance System Administrator; ROTA / SHIFT employees Time Administrator

 

Payroll Accounting activities in general include:

 

•    End-to-end HR Accounting activities in SAP but no Gross-to-Net calculations (nem bérszámfejtés!) as part of the Europe-Africa-Middle East payroll team that supports over 25 countries
•    Timely reconcile balance sheet accounts under PAY responsibility, comply with Controller’s Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliation guidelines and practices
•    Perform proper account maintenance i.e. all open items should be matched and cleared before defined aging intervals
•    Report performance of account reconciliation and maintenance
•    Ensure accurate and timely processing of 3rd party payments (legal and vendor)
•    Ensure accurate and timely intercompany billing
•    Perform proper journal vouchers or accrual journal input to General Ledger
•    Answers cost inquiries related to Salaries, Wages and Benefits
•    Fulfill all reporting requirements from management, Controllers, government authorities and vendors
•    Ensure performance meets required service levels 

 

Both Operations and Accounting activities include in general:

•    Keep payroll work processes and documentation under responsibility up-to-date
•    Ensure work processes and documentation under responsibility comply with relevant controls requirements, e.g. System of Management Control (SMC), Management Protection of Information (MPI), System and Business Control Catalogue, Record Retention Guideline, Delegation of Authority Guide (DOAG), Personnel Matter Guide (PMG), etc.
•    Be part of global and local payroll networks to execute continuous improvement initiatives 

What we are looking for


• Bachelor/Master degree (or pending degree with only the final exam outstanding) in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent with 0-2 years relevant work experience (in accounting or finance)
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
• Fluent level of English is must, Hungarian is required for Hungary Payroll Operation and Italian for the Italy Time Attendance management
• Bachelor/Master degree (or pending degree with only the final exam outstanding) in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent with 0-2 years relevant work experience (in accounting or finance)
• Accounting background with minimum of 2 semesters of studies (must have for the Italy Time Attendance and Nordic Payroll Accounting, advantage for Hungary Payroll Operation)
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Willingness to take self-initiative and seek challenges
• Ability to influence others and work in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill
• Proven record of initiative, leadership and academic achievement
• Attention to accuracy and detail and ability to meet priorities and deadlines
