WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY IN OUR TEAM
ExxonMobil’s Payroll function is responsible for providing timely and accurate pay and payroll services worldwide; using secure, controlled, and efficient processes to meet customer and business needs. Our cyclical activities are enriched by a variety of projects and change management initiatives on a global scope; through which our colleagues can deepen their subject matter-, digital and analytical expertise.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a member of the Payroll team, you will face a great variety of tasks that require problem solving skills and issue resolution on a daily basis. You can leverage your change management capabilities, have exposure to legal, tax and financial issues, as well as demonstrate a customer-centric mindset while:
• Overseeing overall operations to ensure payrolls are processed timely and accurately through effective management of payroll vendors
• Resolving stakeholder issues and concerns by identifying and implementing effective solutions in close collaboration with payroll vendors
• Being part of global and local payroll networks to execute continuous improvement initiatives and streamline existing processes to enhance daily operations
• Managing reporting requirements from management and government authorities
• Driving digital innovation while being involved in exciting process transformation and improvement initiatives
• Participating in the Digital Innovation Program and Financial & Accounting Training Program to further master related skills
• Participating in various site wide initiatives, including charity efforts, inclusion & diversity events, or networks to further develop your skills
ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
• Bachelor/master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent
• Proven experience in payroll operations and/or vendor management; relevant work experience in project & change management
• Fluent English knowledge is a must, strong command of other European languages and/or Arabic is an advantage
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Precision and attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Good communication, collaboration, and coordination skills
• Can-do, proactive attitude paired with a motivation to learn and grow and expand your responsibilities
