Payment and Loyalty System Specialist

 

There is a growing network of 5000+ gas stations in Europe operating under the Esso brand, and selling to motorist high quality fuels, Mobil1 and other lubricant products, coffee, food and grocery items.

Forecourt payment and loyalty solutions are a fundamental element of our brand proposition and they are expected to deliver frictionless customer experience while meeting the highest system security standards.

The Payment and Loyalty System Specialist is monitoring consumer needs and feedback, industry trends and the competition in order to shape the product vision and roadmap for the forecourt bank card payment and loyalty solutions in order to improve consumer experience.

They are working in strong collaboration with and in the intersection of ExxonMobil IT, retail marketing & IT vendors to oversee operation of these platforms and implement new capabilities, features, as well as improvement to existing processes and systems.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN OUR TEAM

 

  • Prioritize the backlog of payment solutions and capabilities, respond to changing priorities to ensure that the highest value business opportunities are delivered and captured.
  • Act as subject matter expert with regards to site system business processes.
  • Oversee vendor activities, support implementation of new features.
  • Support operational teams in daily operational process runs and incident management.
  • Work with Procurement to identify cost savings opportunities and provide input into commercial and negotiation strategies for the respective services.
  • Ensure compliance with ExxonMobil and Industry payment and loyalty security & data privacy requirements. Develop and implement cost-effective controls and fraud preventative measures.
  • Develop relevant product metrics and business performance indicators to support business decisions.
  • Execute Business Continuity plan and be part of Emergency Response team.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

 

  • Master’s degree in Business Economics / STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) / Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • High technical comfort level with systems and technology.
  • Work experience as a product owner and/or expertise with payment solutions, and vendor management experience are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of agile product management practices.
  • Ability to work remotely and be a self starter.
  • Good relationship management, communication and influencing / commercial acumen.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage complex issues.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
