What role you will play in our team

Our future colleague will become a subject matter expert in commercial card payment and loyalty technology solutions to support ExxonMobil’s Retail Fuels operations across EAME. This role bridges business objectives with IT solutions, with a strong emphasis on technology. The successful candidate will identify, define, prioritize, and support the delivery of viable and sustainable digital products (including enhancements) that meet customer needs and deliver desired outcomes throughout the product lifecycle.

Solutions are primarily delivered through external technology partners rather than internal development teams. Therefore, the ability to navigate a multi-vendor ecosystem, manage dependencies, and ensure alignment across stakeholders is critical. The role also promotes technical excellence and continuous improvement.

What you will do

  • Act as a business process and platform expert for a suite of solutions
  • Do platform configuration of marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders and vendor teams to manage dependencies and resolve technical issues
  • Prepare and analyze product performance metrics and user feedback
  • Coordinate IT risk assessments of products / services and assist with development of custom controls
  • Clarify and document business requirements
  • Capture and maintain business workflows, data models, and data flows
  • Support change management and implementation activities

About you: skills and qualifications

We are looking for an agile, hands-on professional who is a self-starter, fast learner, and technology-savvy—ideally with academic or professional experience in information technology. The ideal candidate will understand ecosystem architecture (e.g., transaction flows, system integration, messaging) and the technical, control, and operational aspects of payment and/or loyalty systems. Given the dynamic nature of our technology landscape and the involvement of multiple partners, strong communication, coordination, and prioritization skills are essential.

We are looking for candidates with 2–3 years of experience across a mix of the following areas—expertise in all is not expected.

    • Familiarity with APIs, data flows, and system interfaces
    • Ability to document and optimize workflows, data models, and user journeys
    • Supporting go-lives, rollouts, and change implementations
    • Working knowledge of software deployment processes
    • Translating business needs into functional specifications
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills
